A flat refurbishment within a 1960s modernist block in North London, the design embraces a mid-century influence while introducing a series of bespoke joinery pieces tailored to the client’s needs—including storage for an extensive record collection and a home-office area with a bold feature wall that can also function as a spare room. The original parquet timber flooring was carefully restored throughout. The bathroom was conceived as a standout space, fully clad in rich chocolate-toned tiles across both walls and floor, complemented by bespoke details. The interior palette overall is muted and calm, with bolder colours reserved for key moments and feature areas.
