A ground-floor rear extension to a Victorian semi-detached property, delivered in collaboration with Amos Goldreich Architecture. An exposed timber frame defines and separates key areas of the extension, including the kitchen, dining room, snug, and nook, while generous proportions provide ample flexible play space for the clients’ young family. Bespoke joinery throughout offers abundant storage for the everyday clutter of family life, and careful design allowed for budget-friendly solutions in the kitchen that maintain a bespoke look. Externally, buff-white bricks distinguish the new addition from the existing house, complemented by matching terrace paving. A sedum roof and a projecting window seat visually connect the interior spaces with the garden. We were involved in all aspects of the project, including architecture, interior design, planning, and construction.
